Winning projects on freelance websites is not easy. If you have any experience or no experience making bids on freelance sites, let us tell you, is not easy to win bids! Some projects get 15 bids from freelancers and others get up to 75 bids, how can you make sure you are the one selected over your freelance competition?
It all has to do with your approaching skills, specifically with the way you write your bid text or the first comment you write to a buyer requesting a project.
Writing bid text is easy but writing effective bid text is not!
Writing this bid text might seem like an easy task to do. Freelance sites offer you a comment box where you can simply type text to the buyer in order to convince him/her from the beginning that you are the right candidate for their project.
However, what a comment box doesn't tell you is how you should write that bid text in order to increase your chances of getting the bid. Here is were the aid of your mentor comes to help.
Your mentor will not only write the actual bid text for the projects you want to get but they will even write a personal overview for you explaining you the reasons they had to write the bid text specifically in the way they did for the project.
In this way, you can simply copy and paste the bid text on the freelance site of your choice on the actual project you want to get in order to increase your chances of getting your bid accepted.

When you are a buyer or a business owner that requests projects from freelance workers, conveying the information about your project in a professional way is very important for the successful completion of your projects by freelancers.
Given this, your mentor can write project descriptions for you that you can use to post these descriptions on freelance websites or to provide them to your freelancers directly when you work outside freelance sites.
Sample project description posted on freelance website: RentACoder.com (Blured for privacy reasons.) but you can always post your project description in the same way in your favorite freelance website, not only in RentACoder.com.

It can be easy to think when you hear the word "Question" that you can ask a question to your mentor about anything including tip related questions and advice related questions but the truth of the matter is that these types of questions are not done thrugh the "Questions" link but through the "Advice" link." Questions" section is just for two things:
- Ask questions to your mentor about your favorite freelance website
- When you want your mentor to write you a follow up message for any of your projects posted on freelance sites (one submission per follow up message should be made)
