For those who had read a previous post in our blog, we were having problems finding mentors for other freelance websites but now we have mentors for other sites such as Guru.com and oDesk.com and Scriptlance.com, we still need mentors for Elance.com though. We also have independent freelancer mentors as well for those wishing to start a career in freelancing but working outside freelance websites.

As you may already know, freelance websites are places were you can apply to work with buyers or employers interested in getting some work to be done by expert freelancers/coders, etc… However, what many people are not aware of is that on freelance websites, you can also sell your existing software to some people who request it.

So our suggestion is that you always create software on your spare time because there is people willing to pay for your existing software and they will pay you good. However, you must make sure not to share the code with anyone, just keep it to you until you find a buyer or employer on a freelance website willing to buy “already made software”.
